What are your thoughts on YSL Y Eau de Parfum? I just bought this after 4 days and maybe a collective 6 hours browsing around different cologne stores. It seemed versatile enough and almost completely inoffensive in addition to smelling really good. The thing I hated most about Y by Yves Saint Laurent was the scratchy, itchy, powdery semi-marine 90's fougère top emulating Nautica (1992) or Azzaro Chrome (1996), stretched over a laboratory of aromachemicals and the fashionable ambroxan/norlimbanol base.
An intense portrayal of the Y signature, sophisticated notes of bergamot, ginger and sage are sharpened by an apple accord. At its base, the boldness of vetiver embodies the passion of the Y man’s unique strength. Never stop believing. Y, masculinity redefined.
